It Looks Like A Rising Moon

I tried a 6500K cool white G9 first and it looked too clinical for the bedroom. Swapped to a 2700K warm white and it transformed into this beautiful golden moon. The frosted globe really amplifies whatever tone the bulb gives off, so choose carefully. With the right bulb this fixture is absolutely stunning.

Sticks Out 7 Inches — Worth It

The globe extends about 7 inches from the wall which is more than a flat sconce. But that's the whole point — it creates a three-dimensional sculptural presence. In my dining room the globe catches candlelight from the table and glows even when turned off. It's decoration and lighting in one piece.
